Has anyone bought a wedding band online?

I want to buy FH a platinum wedding band....found the perfect one online and am hesitant about ordering it.

Just curious if anyone has done this and what the results were? OH and the site you ordered from?

My FBIL and FSIL got theirs from www.bluenile.com and it was great! I've heard nothing but good things about bluenile!

ETA: Just make sure the online store you are thinking about ordering from is reputable and has a good return policy (just in case!).

I'm not sure what site we ordered ours from, but we got both of our bands online. They came in a week and were exactly what we wanted- plain, simple bands.

my DH bought my engagement ring and matching band online at bluenile.com. we also got our titanium bands online. we had no problems whatsoever, I even had to send back my e- ring for a different size!!!

FH ordered 6 rings from Billbarnes.com and sent back the he didn't want...

Worked out well, just took a while to get the Credit card credit back.

My e-ring is from Blue Nile and it came with several pages of documentation about the stone. I'd say as long as the site is willing to back it up with some documentation as to the authenticity of the stone/metal. Also make sure they have a good return policy.
