nwr: mad hot ballroom

Just had to plug this documentary that's out right now - Mad Hot Ballroom. It's wonderful. It's about a group of fifth grade classes from various schools in NYC (Washington Heights, Brooklyn, Queens, lower manhattan) who participated in a 10 week ballroom dancing program in preparation for a NYC ballroom dancing competition. The kids are so funny and cute and the film is really touching. I was laughing and crying the whole time, in a good way.

Highly recommend. . . now I definitely want to learn how to ballroom dance with FH.
