Suggestions on Engagement Photo Location?!?!

Any suggestions on where to have Engagement Pictures taken???

Some thoughts so far are…
Old Westbury Gardens
Caumsett Park (Lloyd Harbor)

I would like to do it this summer, and somewhere on the water and or w/ lots of flowers (LOVE flowers). And definitely in Nassau or Queens (or Manhattan).

TIA!!

-Jill

Re: Suggestions on Engagement Photo Location?!?!

I just went to the planting fields this weekend and fh made a comment that its a perfect spot for wedding and engagement pictures. We actually saw a wedding party there taking pics. It has tons of flower everywhere and the mansion is a beautiful backdrop. Its located in Oyster bay and its only $6 per car. Let me see if I can find a website.

Another suggestion (I was busy this weekend ). We also visited the Nassau
county museum of art. They had beautiful gardens, and it was free. They dont have anywhere for indoor pics though. Here's their website

We had our e-pics done in Central Park and I love how they came out.

And you don't need a permit or anything!

Re: Suggestions on Engagement Photo Location?!?!

I second Planting Fields. It's beautiful there, and you can take pics outside or in the green houses.
