Help!! Who is doing your hair and makeup?

I have been getting very expensive qoutes. 100 for makeup and 150 for hair. I like to go to a salon like cactus but Im scared .

I want the convenience of someone coming to my house on the wedding day. Instead of running around to a salon.

I am paying about $250 for both...not including a tip (so it looks unfortunately).

Hair I think i'm using Cactus. I'm nervouse, but 150 is just too much for me to pay for my hair. My hair trial was good, not exactly what i want, but she promised the day of it would be perfect... should i trust her? oh and cactus is about 70

I also prefer someone coming to my home as opposed to going to a salon (we have to be ready very early).

Hair is out of control!!!! It's sick how they can charge $150 for my hair, but anyone else is $75... what if you are getting the same style? That bothers me!!!! I actually contacted a woman that wanted $150 for hair and $75 for each girl. I have alot of girls, plus my Mom and I and I asked her if she could compromise and do it for $125 for me and $55 for the girls, and she said, 'No, you should check other vendors.... this is a very busy time or year so I lock my prices.' Since when is November a busy season!!!!???? Ugh, I'm getting very aggravated with these people. I'm so sick of everyone raising their prices because it's a wedding!!! I have to take a stand somewhere!

I booked Maureen and Claudia Pedala. I am paying a lot more than I wanted but they truly make you feel beautiful.

end of November is a busy time of year? for who? maybe for grocery stores (Thanksgiving). what are these people smoking?!

With all do respect, I was wondering how November would be a busy season. Especially on a Wednesday morning. I could understand June - September. Anyway, I was hoping that you would be a little bit flexible with your pricing. In all honesty, $150 is WAY too expensive. Everyone else charges between $120 and $125. May I ask you a question... I'm not being sarcastic at all... I am really curious to know why everyone charges so much more for the bride. What if I was getting the same exact hairstyle as the bridesmaids? I know that everyone seems to bump up their prices when they hear the word 'wedding' but with the high costs of everything, I was hoping that you might be able to work with me, especially since you would be doing 8 girls. We would have obviously tipped you generously.
