My MOH thinks it is too soon to look for a dress

IS SHE KIDDING ME??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! my wedding is 5 months away.

am I being irrational by asking her to go look now? my BM and I would go with her.

No way, we ordered our BM dresses in November and they are not scheduled to come in until next week!!

Exactly, too bad. Her weight is her weight now. I love my MOH and she told me the same thing. No offense, but she has been at least 50 pounds over weight since the day I met her 21 years ago! And, she was breast feeding her infant daughter up until a month ago. Her words here, 'her boobs were bigger than her head'! Yes, they were HUGE she had to get the largest size the dress comes in. I don't care about her weight. Her weight is what it is, whatever, not important but she had to have a dress on time.

Exactly and frankly you have enough stress just planning the wedding w/o this added to your plate - let her order it and just get it over with!!

we did them about 3 months before. I went looking up to a year before, but my girls were royal PITA's who wouldn't wear anything I picked out. I say it's NEVER too early!

tell her it takes about 4 months for the dress to come in so she can order it and then take it in. orr you can tell her she will have to go naked!!!!

My MOH ordered her dress in mid-March and got it by the end of that month (we were told it would be in at the end of April). She needs to order it now at her current size. And if she loses weight, GREAT! It can be taken in. If not, then the dress should still fit fine.

Stay on her about it. Tell her you need to know that the dress is taken care of so you can focus on other stuff.

I don't think you are being irrational...I def think she needs to order her dress. Order what her size is now and then if she loses weight than great, but if not it'll fit.
