Reception Card Wording - HELP

I need help figuring out how to word our reception cards. I need to email the wording to our invite designer by tomorrow and can't figure out what it should say.

Our ceremony is at 3:30, and the CH starts at 7pm, so we can't use immediately following, which is how I've seen all the samples online.

Also, our reception is 6 hours instead of the usual 5 hours (from 7pm-1am). Do I need to let people know that?

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

Oh, one more thing, if I add formal attire, does that mean black tie, or does it just mean to wear a suit and an evening dress? I want formal but not black tie.

TIA!

I was told that we could put

Cocktails 7 -8 pm
Dineer and Dancing 8-12

but that was 'old fasshioned' i kind of liek that since you are having longer than usual reception

Re: Reception Card Wording - HELP

You should have an invite and a reception card. The invite will have your ceremony time. The reception card the time of the reception:
Cocktails at 6pm
Dinner and Dancing 8pm

You do not need to put an 'end' time. People generally leave after cake is served.

Re: Reception Card Wording - HELP

I already have the invite wording. That was the easy one. They are actually being printed as we speak. It's the reception cards that I'm still have no clue what do to with.
