Re: Computer people, font question

I think you have to 'unzip' them and then copy them into your fonts folder in 'control panel'

Thats how I have done it when I downloaded fonts from www.dafont.com

Hope that helps.

go to start - my computer - windows - font folder

if you drang and drop the unzipped fonts into that folder, it should work.

go to www.dafont.com
when you download the files and save them on your computer, they will be in a zipped file, when you click on the folder (I'd save it on a desktop folder, so it's easier to find) click on the the folder (it will look like a folder but with a zipper on it) to the left you will see extract files, once you extract them you can drag them into your fonts folder, to do that you need to first minimize the open folder, go to start and look for control panel, once you open that click on fonts folder to open that, you can then re-open the unzipped files and drag them into the fonts folder, it should automatically install them, once they are installed you should be able to access them in MS Word, when you click on the fonts list the new fonts should be added to the list.

Hope that made sense, if not let me know and I can try to explain better.
