Can anyone tell me what rates you got for blocking rooms at the Wingate Inn GC

Please keep in mind the following two facts when you see this rate:

A: my wedding was more than a year and a half before yours will be

B: My husband went to High School with one of their managers, so they took good care of me.

$129.

I loved them, the room was great, the service was great.

I got rooms for 129 also just this april friday night and we dont know anyone- they also give continental breakfast. Just make sure your suite IS available we were told that throughout the whole time until the night we showed up- they lost the reservation- but oh wait they had it for sept!!!!!!!!!!!! Needless to say we got that night free and the thursday night my DH stayed there too and received champagne and chocolate- the rooms are big anyhow so to save the $$$ was fine by me.

I was quoted $149 for April 06.

The price really varies depending on what time of the year it is and what scheduled evenys they have. We got 139 for June. The weekend we got married was the weekend of the US Open in Bethpage. I suggest looking online and seeing how much it costs and then talking with them to get cheaper than that. Online they wanted 149 for my weekend. It is a great hotel. We all hung out at the hotel bar after the wedding. They kept it open for us until 4am. I had so much fun! They are great to work with!
