stewart manor country club: having ceremony there?

hi girls:

i wanted to know if anyone else out there is having their ceremony at SMCC?


How does it work? you have the ceremony in the big room, then everyone walks out to go into the cocktail room....did you have a receiving line, if so, how/where? and do you know how SMCC sets up for the ceremony? Do they have an arch? Do i have to decorate the chairs with tulle?

Ack! I have no idea and only 300 days to go!

I posted asking for the SAME thing a couple weeks ago!!!

My FH and I are looking for a place for a winter wedding.

I believe xelindrya had her indoor ceremony there, if you want to FM her w/ your q's.



I'd LOOOOOVE any info you'd like to offer on SMCC - I love the look of it (from the website - we haven't gone in to meet w/ James yet, only spoken with him.)

let me just tell you that the main room has the most awesome antique fireplace

dont let the outside of the place fool you--the main room is really really big. and the woodwork/beams in the main room are what sealed the deal for us.

James is great, in-person.

i'm going to try to attach a pict or 2 for you, so you can see what i mean about the woodwork.
