My engagement barbecue review and pics

Well, all I can say is thank you God! I was so nervous on Friday night about the weather. Granted, we had a rain date. But I had ordered everything for Sat. When i woke up it was cloudy but not raining. So John and I decided to proceed with the party. Abour 10:00 AM the sun came out in full force and I was ecstatic! I ordered a 6 foot hero from Mario's, a store in Middle Village, and bought the rest of the goodies at BJ's, Stop & Shop, etc. I wasn't going to decorate, but my sister Samantha (who agreed to be a bridesmaid- now I am at 6! ) offered to do it. She did such a good job. She bought balloons and streamers. She decorated the front of the house and in the house. She even bought a bride and groom wine covering! Everyone who said they were coming came and had a good time. Food was plentiful... we even forgot to serve half of it so it is coming to work every day. Our guests were very generous and many items were bought from our registry. My bf and bm got us the Vera Wang cake server. We got 10 placesettings. I got my FOREMAN GRILLERATION!!! We were really luck to get the gifts we did. Our party started at 1 PM and the last guest left at 3 AM!! Yikes! But we had a great time. Here are some pics.

The first 1 is of my older sister and MOH Kristie (kikipenz) who never posts! She is getting married on 7/3 at Crest Hollow. She and her FI made my party easier because they took over everything! The 3rd is my bf and bm. The last one is of my 3 sisters and bf. All will be in my bp. The only ones missing are my friend who is 8 months preggers in Boston and FI's sister.

The 2nd one is John and 3 of his groomsmen. The 3rd is John, all his men and his dad. The last one is of me and my college roomie, Meredith. If anyone watched last seasons Amazing Race, she was on it!

Honey I am so happy that everything worked out they way you wanted .....i had a good feeling that it would! I was thinking about you that day .....i was on my way to my cousins wedding and was so thrilled for the both of you ...i was going to sent you a text but I figured you had enough going on .....
