NWR-I need advice (work related)

I need advice and hugs right now. About a week ago I hurt my back at work. Unfortunately because of the type of injury it is, I have to now leave my job. Problem is that I have no idea what to do now. I need to make $$$...I have bills...and this wedding. However, I need something that does not require constant sitting/standing. Sitting is ok in small doses, but I need to be able to move around. I have a B.S. in Education, but I have no idea if there is even anything I can do over the summer. I am racking my brain to try to figure out what kind of job I can do. I feel completely useless, besides the fact that I am in constant pain.

I am trying to get different perspectives since I have not been able to get any suggestions so far. I am so depressed. Sorry to be posting this here.

I was working in collections...which I did not really care for anyway...however it was $$$.

are u collecting workers comp? i also hurt my back at work and have been receiving workers comp and disability- its not alot, but it pays the bills and wedding costs

I went that route and the ins co refused to pay for anything and denied the claim...because nothing fell on me, it is a progressive thing. If it were my wrist it would have been one thing. I am a p/t employee...don't know if I am elgible for disability.

You could work at a camp over the summer... doesn't pay much though

Kaplan hires teachers for the summer. You might want to check them out.

So sorry to hear that, hope you're feeling better!!

Some day care centers look for extra help over the summer since the kids are out of school, you could try looking there! I'll be sending out some good thoughts for you!
