If you invited a LIW bride to your wedding......

If you invited a LIW bride to your wedding......
I'm just curious....I noticed that some LIW brides have invited other LIW brides to their weddings. Were you both friends prior to joining LIW? Or did you become friends through LIW? I think it's so nice when I see when one LIW bride attended the wedding for another LIW bride!

I think if I invited all of the LIW Brides who I enjoy corresponding with, my numbers would be a little too high. I think it is a great gesture to invite to a ceremony. We have all developed kinships with each other and shared so much that it is nice to see people walk down the aisle - to see the advice we share be put into action. I suppose though if you develop true friendships either before or after LIW, it is more than appropriate to invite as a full guest.

One LIW bride came to my reception because we became VERY close and good friends through a year of planning together. She, along with 3 other brides I have developed a friendship with came to the ceremony. It was so nice to have them there since they knew every little thing I went through with planning.eta

I invited 3 (2 were married already) LIW gals to my weddingI went to 1 LIW in march AND was in the BP
and going to another VERY SOON
ALL of which i met here

I was invited to a few LIW girls weddings and Jen_n_Dale came to mine that is because we all met on here and became 'online friends'.

I was invited and went to 1-LIW wedding ceremony and reception (Oakslady) because she was VERY under her minimum and a few of us LIW girls came to the rescue (as much as we could)and I went to 1-LIW ceremony (Somethingblu) b/c we'd been chatting alot online and found out we had alot in common, including the same church, same monsignor, same hall, etc!!!

I invited one that I met after LIW. However we became acquanted through non LIW stuff.. We had chatted a little online, and then ran into each other somewhere else.I invited my MOH ... I have know her for a while and I invited a friend I worked with. She introduced me to LIW.

I didn't know anyone before I joined LIW and now I have so many wonderful friends. I have been to a few weddings and have 3 more this year. I can't wait!

Ditto for me!! I had a bunch of LIW girls at my wedding and have been to a bunch of LIW girls weddings as well.
I have made so many amazing friendships on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

don't worry ....you will form friendships in time...
I felt VERY CLOSE with the girls who were getting married at the same time as me....
Friendships develope as you go through the same experiences together...

I invited 4 LIW girls to my wedding...2 I knew from childhood but reunited with them through LIW, and the other 2 I met only through LIW.

Hmmm, there were 5 LIW brides there, 6 invited.2 were friends from college (LBF404 and Jax430), and the rest were new friends from LIW (Eroxgirl, MrsWask, [email protected], and Rob-Luvs-Me who couldn't make it because she was on her Honeymoon). I was at their weddings too.

I just relocated here..and have no family/friends here it is so nice to come on this site and get opinions and chat with all of you! Makes me a little less homesick
