anyone going to Italy for their honeymoon?

If you booked...or thinking about booking...how many nights and how much?

I think I would much rather do a guided tour. I'm Italian..and have been there twice before but just to visit family. I want to tour Italy this time!!! (If we can afford it! )

Re: anyone going to Italy for their honeymoon?

I typically book all of my travel through Club ABC tours. I think membership is $40 for two years but it is well worth it. They give you the best hotels and a lot of times some meals are included. Some tours are included and some are optional. I have never been disapointed the at least a dozen times I've traveled with them and their prices can't be beat. Here's there website. You have to be a member to get their brochures but you might want to become a member and check it out!

We are We're not doing a tour though. We're not doing a car- we're winging it. We've done that everywhere else we've gone (which has been a lot of places) and we've been fine. As for $$- we used American Airline points for free roundtrip business class airfair, as well as points for our first 4 nights at a really nice hotel in Rome...so we splurged A LOT on our other hotels.
