still have to book dj and florist. who would you recommend?

I am using both and highly recommend both of them...do a search on here and read reviews from Brides who have used them

My sister used starlight express.

personally, I crossed them off my list after her wedding. They had a lot of people up and dancing, but they MC was obnoxious, and disregarded EVERYTHING my sister and BIL had asked for. He ignored their do not play list, he ignored their must play list. She asked that he not be in everyone's face and OH MY GOD was he in everyone's face. I wanted to deck him.

Pedestals delivered gorgeous flowers for my wedding and they were really fresh - even in the hot sun. The arrangements were very well done.

Unfortunately, they forgot a few things (not all that important but I wanted wreaths and we went over it several times - even the week before the wedding)

Our arch for the ceremony was also not the one we requested. The flowers were correct (and gorgeous) but there was tulle everywhere and on the wrong arch. I had them write on the contract - no tulle anywhere and they still forgot which was annoying. When I called to complain - they didn't know how it got there!!!

Also - the person you book the deal with is not around on the day of the wedding so all those things you ask for as far as set up are done by these young guys whom you've never met. This might be the case with most florists but I was upset that so many of the things weren't set up in the right place (we ordered a lot of flowers).

Definitely insist on a sample two months before the wedding. We had said we didn't want any white flowers in our centerpieces and we got tons in the sample. They rearranged it and the final product was great. I just don't think I wold have been happy without doing the sample. Don't assume that putting it in writing is enough - the person doing the arranging doesn't always look at the notes!

We plan on doing this, mostly b/c I am being SO indecisive about exactly WHICH centerpiece and WHICH flowers I want.

I heard that, a friend of a friend used them and they said they totally disregarded the songs they wanted to play
