Dates for July GTG

Before I post this, let me preface it by saying ALL DATES first have to be ok'd by our lovely bride graciously offering her backyard for the BBQ.

This is an idea to what dates would work best. We gotta go with the most vote getting date ladies...

Janna, if you are hosting the BBQ, you are not expected at all to have to buy food, supplies. Offering your house is definitely more than enough & greatly appreciated. We'll then come up with a list of who is bringing what and what we have/what we need.

Saturdays are def better than Sundays IMO! I voted for the 16th, but the 23rd or 30th would work as well!!

Any dates are fine by me. FH and I were supposed to go to Dover Downs on July 9th, but I'm hesitant to go. We need money for the wedding more than we need to go gambling!!! I already asked him 'Do we have to go?' and he said no. Otherwise, I'm pretty much open!

For me July 16 works best.

But, if everyone will be bringing their FI I probably won't come because I will feel silly by myself.

Once we firm up a date, we can get a food/beverage list going.

I dont think that mine will come but thats alright by me .....so like you said after we have a date and time we will make a list that covers everything ....

and I live right down the road from Janna so I already told her I will be there early to help her set up

We can keep the FH's and us seperate. When I brought up the BBQ being held at our place to my FH he actually got excited!

Said he would have a poker game ready to go and that he's always up to meeting new people to play poker. So as long as some of the FH's play cards, they'll be in good hands!!

We can all stay by the pool and jacuzzi area and the guys can have the house. (We have a grill by both) I live in the Commack/Smithtown/Hauppauge area, right off the Northern State.

So anyone who wants to come is welcome, I just need to know if I need extra chairs or not!!

its hard to to gtg deepier into summer as so many ppl have functions to attend (well, i know i do at least and seems to be the theme for each summer)
