I feel like this week is going to drag and then us lucky NYC teacher have next Monday and Tuesday too

i hear ya! Those 2 days next week are so dumb! They will also be the longest day and a half of my life!!!!!!

Awww well I hope for all of your sakes, the week flies. I am in day care and we just don't get a break!! It really stinks to never really have any time off. Hopefully that will change because I'm on the hunt for a new job. I'm sick of mine :P

I was just going to say something similar....actually I was going to whine that I only WISH I had to deal with another week before I got the summer off.....but we all chose our careers.

I WISH I had this problem!!! I have my Masters in Ed but I'm currently in the business world, don't ask, it's a long story!! Meanwhile every summer I realize I'm still in the wrong field!!! HELP!!

Not sure if you directed this at me, but I'll answer! I student taught in 2002 when I got my BSEd but I didn't love it. I think namely bc of my cooperating teachers. So I'm afraid to get into teaching and realize that I hate it. And no, I won't go to the city. I'm in Suffolk and I'd really like to stay out here.

Thats right. And I was a teacher and HATED it! I am much happier having to work through the summer than teaching.

Have you ever thought of being a teacher assistant??? It would be a major pay cut I am sure but its a good way to see if you really like it...I did it while I was getting my Masters

I am SO ready for Tuesday. I woke up this morning thinking it was Saturday. I was really sad when I realized it is only Tuesday.
