RD Restaurant Ideas / Wantagh

Can anyone recommend a restaurant to hold a small rehearsal dinner in / near Wantagh?
Price range? American cuisine preferred (we have some guests with diet restrictions).
TIA!

Re: RD Restaurant Ideas / Wantagh

Wantagh: The Wantagh Inn,
Snaps, Tom Toms, Hemmingway's (all near mulcahey's/sunrise hwy),
Umberto's (Cherrywood shopping ctr),

levittown/bethpage: Singleton's, Domenico's

Merrick: Cucina Bay (on the water)

Some are Italian, some asian-fusion, some american-esque

Re: RD Restaurant Ideas / Wantagh

Cherrywood Pizza (it's a large, nice restaurant with a pizzeria next door) on Wantagh Ave. just north of the train station. I've been going there, or to their original location, since I was little and the owners are so nice. It would be a great place for a family celebration. A girl I know had her shower there.

ETA: Hemmingways would also be good, too. That has more American-style food.

Re: RD Restaurant Ideas / Wantagh

Right next door to Wantagh in Seaford, is Paddy's Loft. Its one of FH and I favorite restaurants. The food is awesome there- they have a little bit of everything- burgers, steak, chicken, etc.

We got pricing info for our rehersal dinner- and I think it ranges from $26-32pp for dinner, and beer, wine and soda. Depends on the night of the week you want to have it.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Re: RD Restaurant Ideas / Wantagh

My bridal shower was at Hemingway's and they did a great job. The food was great & we were able to select 3 bottles of good wine (a chardonnay, a cab, and a pinot noir) that they kept pouring all day! We had the upper level to ourselves which was very nice.
