MAC Makeup / What would you pay?

What price range would you consider fair to pay an artist hired from the MAC makeup counter for a bride on the day.
Thanks for your opinions.

They seem kind of high to me too. I know there are a ton of make-up artists on the vendor list here that charge a lot less ($75 range) for the bride. Unless she has a really great portfolio I don't see why she would charge so much.

Side note though, I know the girl my sister hired works or used to work at Bergdorfs @ one of the cosmetic counters and she is charging $200. BUT she has an amazing portfolio and has worked on many models for shoots like Victoria's Secret, etc. I think it's how she suplements her income from the freelance work. If she is charging that high, again, just ask to see a portfolio. It may be a similar scenario.

I had 2 MAC makeup artists. I only hired one of them, but his wife was also a MAC makeup artist and he brought her along to help him out cause he was worried he wouldn't have enough time to do the makeup by himself.

For me, I think it was $125 or maybe even $100.

I know that me and my mom together were $200. So, maybe I was $125 and she was $75? And, my niece was $50. I only had her makeup done to keep her occupied...

and, they did 2 of my BM's lipsticks and lip liners (these girls were helpless) and he also did my MOH's eyebrows.

My total was $250. (he didn't charge anything for the lips and eyebrows on the other girls). So, I topped him and his wife another $50 to share.

I wouldn't pay more than 120-140.

My make up is being done by Mac Artist in Marcos salon, its $150.
but that includes airbrush and falsh lashes.
