Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

I think that the Huntingtown Townhouse has rooms that fit 500+ people. (I don't know about food quality or what it looks like -sorry).

Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

Been there, done that! The places we checked out that could have accomodated that # were Crest Hollow, Huntington Town House, Jericho Terrace, and Leonards. We went with Terrace on the Park, which back then, was amazing!

Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

try:
Wedding sites & services

Crest Hollow is a popular Prom location.

She may want to try some hotels too.

She will probabaly need a location that has mroe than one event at a time, b/c a oen at a timepalce will probably be booked for a wedding on a Friday or Saturday night.

Good luck to your sister!

Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

Someone at work is having a huge wedding (400 or so) at Carlye on the Green. Not sure if they do proms though.

Good luck to your sister. I was a class advisor a few years back... that prom aged me about 15 years!!

Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

I Know you said you wanted to stay in Nassau/Suffolk but Russos on the Bay is a great place to have it. The food is out of this world and they can fit up to 600 ppl.

Re: NWR:kinda Reception halls that fit 300+

What about the hotels? The Hyatt Regency Wind Watch in Hauppauge has a very large room, if that's not too far out of the way. I think the Sheraton and Marriott in Hauppauge also have catering facilities.
