My poor dog (Update) NWR

My poor dog (Update) NWR

He broke his paw nail and we were supposed to go to the vet and get it fixed through minor surgery and when they gave him an xray they found a massive tumor in his abdomen.

Now we have to see a surgeon tomorrow and see if they can remove it and hopefully its not cancer. I haven't been able to think all day. I had him since he was 9 weeks old. This is breaking mine and FH's heart.

We would spend every penny we had to save him.

SO MASON HAD SURGERY AND THEY REMOVED HIS SPLEEN. We are waiting for the biopsy to see if its benign or malignant. The surgeon called me and he is doing great and they even took him out for a short walk. She says he is acting like he didn't even have surgery. A few more days and my baby can come home to us. FH and I miss him dearly. Thank you all for your prayers and puppy prayers they were all heard.

Poor little guy

Just remember one thing about dogs and other animals - sometimes it's better for them to not be put thru the surgery if they are too old.

It's a terrible decision to have to make. He'll be in my and Charlie's thoughts.

The Paw nail was a sign to get the Xray... I hope everything is okay!!! I am a big animal freak, so this kind of stuff breaks my heart! Even worse than a person!

awww hun I am so sorry. My pup broke his tail on Sunday and I just feel awful.

Thank you all for the support. The vet said the same thing if I didn't bring him in for the paw we would have never know and he tumor could have ruptured. I am trying to stay strong. Thank you all again for your words of encouragement. I need it.

You are prob going to think I am nuts but before I was talking to Fred (my little beagle) and I told him about your pup hehe

Thank you, my dog Mason would really like a puppy prayer. Thank you ladies for all the prayers tomorrow is the big day at the animal hospital.

Lots of prayers for you dog. I hope he'll be ok and have a speedy recovery. He broke his paw nail for a reason...they needed to find this tumor... It's strange how things work out.
