Looking for the name of a Maggie dress...
Anyone get the new Wedding Channels book. There is a Maggie gown advertised but I dont know what the style name is and I cant find it on the website because the ad shows just the back of the dress and the site shows just the fronts of the dresses. The girl is sitting on the floor next to a dresser and the back of the gown is a corset with beads and it looks like a rhinestone or beaded ring under the corset to make it look like it's pulling up the gown. Sorry not the greatest description. If anyone knows the name please let me know. Thanks
It also says in the ad, 'Your Dress... Your Dream'. If this helps

Re: Looking for the name of a Maggie dress...
Is it this dress?
STYLE: Porsha
SILHOUETTE: A-Line
NECKLINE: Strapless
WAIST: Empire
TRAIN: Chapel
DESCRIPTION: Gown features matching purse.
FABRIC: Satin
COLOR: White, Cerise, Light Gold, or Deep Red
SIZE: 2 - 28
PRICE: $$
ETA:: If that's not it, try searching the Knot, they have a lot of dresses and approx. how much they cost - Maggio Sottero Bridal
ETAA:: I also wanted to add that I think the Knot has the wrong information down, the dress looks like a Ballgown with a dropped waist, not an A-Line with and Empire waist, but the style name should be correct. Good luck!

Re: Looking for the name of a Maggie dress...
No problem, glad to help. Sorry, but the Knot didn't have a photo of the front of the dress, but when enlarged, the front looks a little textured. It's hard to describe but very pretty. At least you know the style now, and keep checking Maggie's website or search other sites.
Good luck!tjs - I loooooove your avvie

Re: Looking for the name of a Maggie dress...
Uh Oh
I went on the maggie site and there isnt even a Porsha style listed. I went on the Knot and tried to research alittle more but came up with nothing. Back to the drawing board
It's funny too because I went on netbride and house of brides and asked for a quote for what is now not the dress I was looking for
oh well. I did see that the Knot said Bridal Relflections in Massapequa carries it so I'll try them and keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again though ladies your the greatest!

No, I think Maggie may have just used the name Porsha again. The dress I found is from 2003. This one looks like it's from a new collection. I've never seen it before today.

Re: Looking for the name of a Maggie dress...
Thanks so much for all the sleuthing, I think since it does appear to new that I'll just run the pic over to Bridal Reflections and see what they say. Atleast I know I have plenty of time to order it before it's discontinued
since it's brand new. Thanks Again Ladies
