Any '06-ers going to Tahiti/Bora Bora for their honeymoon?

If so, have you booked yet? We are waiting until the rates come out for June... but just wondering if any '06-ers booked yet. If so, what islands and hotels are you staying at? Who did you book through and (if you don't mind) what was your total cost? I'm hoping the '06 rates don't go up too much! Thanks!

We are hoping to in 07 so I cant help with $$ but we found an ad in one of the Bridal books we want to look into were you stay in a straw hut out on the water with glass sections in the floor to see the fish and a table next to your bed that is see through that you can actually slide open to feed the fish while laying in bed. They bring you breakfast by canoe everymorning.

Yup, most of the resorts in Tahiti and bora bora have the glass in the floor in the overwater bungalows, but the Pearl on Bora Bora is the one where you can open it and feed the fish!! That's the resort we want to stay in!!!!

OMG!
I would love to go but even Hawaii is going to be up there. FH dosent even want to go that route but Im set on that.

Im also waiting for rates on that.

OMG...I just saw an article in modern bride and I thought it was beautiful, I was just talking th fh about it. Tahiti is my dream honeymoon

We are planning to go there for our HM, right after the wedding. Check out AirFrance.com they are the cheapest..they have vacations specials. I found a package for 12 nights-13 days, four islands (Bora Bora, Tahiti, Moorea and another one), staying in overwater bungalows for $7500!!!! you can't beat that... you just have to go through LAX...I will be booking with them..

wow a four island trip for $7500? that is pretty amazing. the SP is our first choice for HM. I would like to do the NY to Tahiti non-stop flight though, just started this month!
