1 button or 2 button tuxes for the groom/ushers

one place we went to said 1 button was the classic style and best choice for all body shapes and another said the 1 button was out of style and the 2 button was best for all body types.

what did your FH's/DH's get? if anyone has pics that would help too!

Re: 1 button or 2 button tuxes for the groom/ushers

we JUST went looking for tuxes this past weekend, so although I never knew anything about this stuff before..I actually understand what you're talking about! :)

My FH is short, so the one button definitely looked better on him. I believe 2-button are much more 'in' now.

The one thing that we were continually told at the tux shop was that the groom should wear the same style tux as the groomsmen, i.e. if the groom wears one button, the groomsmen should too, otherwise there is a chance they will stand out more.

Honestly, if I were you, go check out vests, ties, etc first...decide on what you like, and then determine the tux that looks better with that.

Sorry no pics...but hope the info helps a bit! :)

Honestly, don't pay any attention to what they tell you is 'in style.' Have your FH try on both styles and let him pick the one he prefers. But I do agree, that whatever he chooses should be what the GM wear.

My guys had 2 button. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have even noticed the difference either way !
