HELP! Trying to change chat avatar....

My pics have been sized correctly, but I keep seeing my old avatar (the model wearing my dress). I'm trying to change it to a pic of my cats.

In my accounts, I hit browse, click on the pic I want, hit submit. I get the message 'account has been updated' but when I go to the boards, my old avatar pic is still there.

*** am I doing wrong????

ETA..... why is W T F editted out? Isn't that the 'clean' way of saying what th f@ck?

the pic is of your cats ?? is that what u wanted?

try hitting the refresh button (F5) while you're still in the account menu.....this usually works for me.

Are you signing on through AOL? It takes longer to see the changes

it's not just AOL anywhere I sign on.... for a long time I didn't see mine change, and it goes back and forth from my old to my new when it feels like it. It's SO ANNOYING

Yes, the cats are adorable!

To see the new pic, you have to sign out after you update the new picture...then close the browser, re-open the browser and log back in. You should see it now.
