aruba Radisson vs Renaissance
Was wondering for any one who has gone to Aruba and stayed at the Renaissance or Radisson. Pros and cons on them please. Wanted to originally stay at the Whyndam but all suggest not to go inclusive. What time of year did you go? How far in advanance did you book? Where did you book and $$$

Re: aruba Radisson vs Renaissance
the renaissance was in oranjestad. Radisson is on the beach. we stayed and recommend the radisson. they have the sweetest little cat that lives on the hotel premise. I wanted to take her.. but she had a great life in the hotel.

Re: aruba Radisson vs Renaissance
We stayed at the Wyndham and loved it. The trip was worth so much more than we paid it seemed. The pool is gorgeous, it is the last resort on the strip, so not very busy/crowded, the rooms were great, the service is the best we've ever had, we had no complaints and we've been to the Atlantis to compare it to. We did all inclusive breakfast and drinks and they didn't even charge us all of the days, they said don't worry about it. We didn't eat lunch and then we usually ate dinner in town because there are so many good restaurants, El Gaucho (steak/seafood), the Driftwood (seafood and other), there was another one called something like Madam Janette's I think, Flying Wishbone (feet in the water). Also, the Wyndham has Azul which is a sunset dinner on the beach were you get like a bottle of Champagne or Wine, dinner, desert and the price isn't bad at all, but you should book early. We really couldn't say enough good things about the place, but if you want the Radisson or Renaissance, I would say Radisson because the Renaissance is downtown (with the shops) and it doesn't have as much a resort feel. Also, you can't just walk out to the beach you have to take a boat to the beach (which is private). Also, it is where the cruise ships come in, just a little crowded for us. Anyway, if you want any other info, FM me. Good luck.Welcome New Vendors
