Alright ladies....once again I'm depending on your expert opinions and advice for a slight dilemma.......I have NO idea of what kind of restaurants are in/around the area of Land's End!! Since we're not from LI--we're completely clueless about restaurants and unlike NYC, there isn't an online Zagat survey for every restaurant in the area.

Need a decent restaurant --casual, yet elegant for a Saturday night rehersal dinner. Looking to spend no more than $30/pp...not sure of the type of food (we'd love a seafood/steak or italian place, but not sure if they would be able to provide within the budget).

We're willing to travel up to 20 miles or so from Sayville/Ronkongoma....but don't really want to go much further than that.

So, any help ya'll can provide would be GREATLY appreciated!! TIA!!!

There is a great Italian restaurant in Holbrook (the town just north of Sayville). Its called Mama Lombardis (Villa Lombardis is their catering hall right next door). They have a private room downstairs where I'm pretty sure they hold RD.
These are other restaurants in Sayville:
21 Main (actually owned by the same people as Lands End--Lovin Oven)
Sweet Magnolias
Crickets
Sayville Inn
The Cull House

I went to a shower there and it was really nice. Right on the water in Oakdale. We were in a private room in the back overlooking the water.
