Parents Gifts that are not wedding-related?

I'm trying to think of really great gifts for both our parents that are not wedding related, to thank them for all the help they are doing for us.

FI and I tossed around the idea of booking a weekend at Mohegan Sun for them, does anyone else have some suggestions? Did you purchase gifts for your parents or BP that was not wedding related?

I'm really trying to make everything personal to each one, so I'm starting my planning now on the gifts. Thanks for any advice!

I was thinking about a GC for dinner and tickets to a broadway show. My parents are pretty old-school and for them a 'night on the town' is rare and special. Good luck

i am thinking a weekend getaway at GUrney's Inn... or a weekend in nyc to see a show

pretty much none of our gifts are 'wedding' related... we wanted to get our parents and P things that they were actually going to use again... for the guys we got them portable dvd players and case... the girls got a basket with a robe from vicky's, a bottle of their fav. perfume, a bunch of lotions and stuff from bath and body in their favorite scent and a necklace from swarovski... fh's parents are getting a GC for a hot air balloon ride!!! I am doing the memory quilt for my parents and i am not sure what else, probably get my dad a few rounds of golf and something else for my mom!! HTH
