What do you think of this for the CH? Please vote

I wish I had a picture, but I will try to discribe.

I was thinking of taking a small fish bowl, put some glass marbles on the bottom and either floating a candle or a flower in it (if using a flower then I would put a couple of votives around it) for the CH tables. It would be a home-made thing. What do you think?

I think it's a pretty idea. My venue does this for the CH already. When I saw it I thought it was very cute and elegant.

Doesn't East wind already decorate tables for cocktail hour? I remember that they were nice! Maybe think about using the money elsewhere. Otherwise the idea is nice!!

Hmmm. I don't remember them saying they did, but I should ask.

So I just called them and they told me that they float Gerber daisies in water on the table (which is what I was describing). What makes me mad is that a florist I spoken to who is a house vendor there wanted to charge me $175 for them to do the exact same thing when I could get it for free and they know it! Oh that makes me MAD! Oh well, that just means I will not use that florist is all. Money-hungry sugs

i think it sounds very pretty, i'm doing the glass bowls and putting a flower in it..candles maybe around it
