they practice

i dont think its being broken down right away.
me and dw watched this 'contest' and they eat the hotdogs by themselves takeing a big bite and then swallowing. when it comes to the bread, they dip it in water, ice tea, whateve disolveing the bread into mush, and that goes down easier also.

I love hot dogs. I couldn't eat more than two at a time but i still love them. Please tell me rat poo is not in hot dogs, i'll gag.

I have to admit, I'm a ravenous pig, who could probably eat 49 hot dogs if I ever let myself...I just don't ever feel full...I'm about 15-20 pounds over weight (I'm 5 foot 1, and I wiegh 139)....there are times when I am out to dinner with my FH, and he's stuffed after appetizers, and I'm all good to finish my entree, his entree and desert....I don't know if I could do it all in 12 minutes though...

Ugh...I just couldn't do it. DH's brother tried to do it after watching. He tried dipping the bread in water and everything and he started to feel sick after like 5.

These people are crazy though - they actually 'train' their stomachs for this stuff. And that little guy who wins every year is able to eat each hot dog in two bites.
