Anyone still looking for a hall for July 8, 2006??

I am supposed to be having my reception at the Jericho Terrace on July 8, 2006 (Saturday) in the evening. Unfortunately, I am probably going to have to cancel for various reasons.

I called to find out the cancellation policy on our contract and found out that the date needs to be re-booked or else we have to pay the full amount we signed the contract for (I guess I should've read that contract a little better, huh?)

Anyway, we booked the Dome Room for Saturday evening of July 8, 2006. Is anyone still looking for a hall for that date? Anyone trying to get a date in the Dome Room at the Jericho Terrace?

I just thought I'd try to see what the chances of the room getting re-booked are...

i know there are laws about this stuff, you MAY be able to get your $$$ back , i know there is a law for suffolk county, maybe nassau too

I (actually, I forced my mom) ended up slashing the guest list (mostly her friends anyway!) and hopefully we won't have people standing for dinner !

Thankfully, we didn't end up having to cancel!!!
