A few months ago I posted about my sister in Texas having complications with her pregnancy and possibly losing the baby. Well, thankfully she's at 17 weeks now but the problems have only begun. She went through an extensive round of sonos, etc. and they discovered the baby is a boy! The news is bittersweet because her umbilical cord is only two layers thick (the normal is three) and that can lead to such complications as low birth weight and mental retardation. She refuses to do an amnio to see if he has any other issues because she feels she'll take whatever God has given her. They say she'll never make it full term, so IF he lives, he'll be born two to two and a half months premature because the doctors firmly believe she will die if she carries to full term. She had her uterus rupture while she was carrying her daughter Skylar and she lost a baby at nine weeks last summer. Her body cannot accomodate any more children, so she'll be going for a sterilization process if and when this baby is delivered.
Please pray for our little cowboy down in Texas. He's fighting to survive and all we can do is pray for him to make it
