Does anyone hold season tickets? Baseball?
I was thinking of getting FI season tickets to the Mets as a wedding gift (and I'm a Yankee fan, whadda wife I'm gonna be
).Can anyone give me any info on pricing or packages if you have season tickets? Can I order for the '06 season or do I have to wait? If I buy remaining '05, will I get the same for '06? Any info would be great! Thanks!

Not too familiar with what they do in flushing but in the bronx you will not be able to buy season tickets for next year until next year. There are usually a few different packages available. We have 4 season tickets to Yankee stadium. Keep in mind that full season tickets are not cheap!

Thanks! I was thinking of the Saturday Home Game package, as it's difficult to get to every game! On their website, it only states for the 2005 season, but I guess I can call them and inquire.

That's the best thing to do. And to not settle for the first set of seats they give you (if you do not like where they are). Then again it is shea so many seats are probably available!

LOL, I was just about to say when you mentioned season tickets aren't cheap 'This is the METS we're talking about here...' LOL - Only kidding to those who are Met fans, I'm sure you're used to this talk by Yankee fans!

Not really, but it's kind of hard to talk smack when they're not playing up to their full potential!

Believe it or not... the Mets have sold a LOT of tickets this year. The 6/7/8 packs were gone very quickly. And if there are partial seasons left... better check where they are located cause most of the good seats are probably already gone.

Re: Does anyone hold season tickets? Baseball?
We bought the 7 game pack last year b/c FH is a huge Mets fan. And we had people from the Mets office calling us for months at the beginning of the season to get a package this year. I'm sure it will probably be the same way if you buy a ticket package for the remainder of the year this year. I'm sure they'll call you and let you know when you can order them. I don't really know about pricing though b/c the 7-pack was only $180 last year.

Thanks. Only problem if I buy now, I'd have to give it to him now and say it's an engagement/wedding gift, as we're not getting married until June next year!I inquired with them, so I'll see what they say.

Yes, I tried to get those this year and they were all gone.

No smack talk but all teams (yes, even the Yankees) have their up and down years attendance wise.
