NWR:: Does anyone hold season tickets? Baseball? UPDATED!

I posted this in NWR, but figured I could post it here too!

I was thinking of getting FI season tickets to the Mets as a wedding gift (and I'm a Yankee fan, whadda wife I'm gonna be ).

Can anyone give me any info on pricing or packages if you have season tickets? Can I order for the '06 season or do I have to wait? If I buy remaining '05, will I get the same for '06? Any info would be great! Thanks!

Check out the Mets website and see when they go on sale, you may be able to submit a season ticket application now, then you'd go on the waiting list.

Check out the Mets website and see when they go on sale, you may be able to submit a season ticket application now, then you'd go on the waiting list.

The website only has the remainder of the 2005 season, but I think I'll call them and ask.

My FI works for the Brooklyn Cyclones (NY Mets minor league team.)

The tickets do not go on sale for the '06 season for a while. As far as the prices - they basically stay the same...there are mini plans available...you can pick and choose which games to attend.

Darn, I wish there was a waiting list or something. But truthfully, by the time I actually GIVE him the tickets, it would be a couple months into the season...hopefully, I won't have a problem getting the tickets.

Another option would be to buy the tickets of a season holder and not go on the waiting list. For example last season my FH and I got entire season of Jets tickets for a season holder that has his own seats (better). We paid about $20 more per game per ticket.

Hey you, I just secure the rest of the '05 Saturday Home Games. I got two tickets in the Mezzanine level, Section 8, which I'm told are pretty good seats, The rep I talked to said they had a Loge seating available as well, but it was in left field, I think.

For the '06 season, I can upgrade the seating if we want, so I decided to take them, there were only 4 games left and the price wasn't that bad.
