Looking for a resaonable florist for 1st birthday centerpieces
I am looking for a semi-cheap (on a budget) florist to do some simple decorations/centerpeices for my daughter's 1st birthday. I'd like something local (i'm in Farmingville) too.

Yeah-I think Bellmore is kinda far but thanks for the suggestion. We are doing pink balloons too but since we are haveing a pretty big group of people in our yard with tents and tables I thought some flowers would make a nice touch too.

Re: Looking for a resaonable florist for 1st birthday centerpieces
what about just getting ballons from party city or a dollar store and tying them to a stuffed animal or something for one of the people at the tabel to take home? (theres a party city by the stony brook loews and a dollar store in pt jeff on rt 347 near homegoods) you could also just buy one of those disposable air tanks at bj's/sams/costco and blow them up yourselves, too!we always use james cress in pt jeff for stuff, but he can be a little pricey!
you might also want to try michaels, they sometimes have fake flower stuff!
i can't believe she is going to be a yr soon....we used to walk the track at commack before you had her (and before we got married!)

I used really pretty plants from home depot and went to the craft store and got cute little pots / vases for like 1.99 each and less and then tied balloons around thatAlso that way if anyone takes home the centerpiece they can keep the plant ( we used indoor plants b/c it was winter)
