OMG is my shower today UPDATE

My Mom has on a full face of makeup and did her hair and has on perfume and they are 'going out on the boat'???

Yeah, OK lady

UPDATE: It was yesterday!!! It was at Verdis on Old Country Road, that place was amazing inside. They did such a great job and everyone was saying how great the food was and giving my Mom compliments all night.

I cannot get over how generous everyone was! There was way over 3 huge tables of gifts! I got so many baskets: bathroom baskets, margarita baskets, towel baskets, hoenymoon baskets, etc. I think every single thing came off my registry! My Mom and girls did such a great job! It was amazing, and everything I could have asked for.

We literally loaded up the tables and rolled them into the lobby to pack up the stuff b/c there was just so many gifts! I have never seen that many gifts. It is all over my parents living room and dining room right now, its insane!

I got a ton of lingerie, I dont think I need to buy any for the honeymoon, thats for sure!

and MY FH was so cute, he got me a corsage and he got me a white sweathsirt printed up with pink letters in the back 'just married september 24th, 2005' How cute is he?????

Well one of our groomsmen got engaged a few months back and today we have his 'engagement party' LOL

I could be wrong, but I am so glad I got a pretty outfit for this party

The party starts at 12:30pm so I gotta hit the shower ladies.

You know whats funny. I was SURE my shower was my FSILs surprise birthday party.. It was at my FBILs awesome place, and I was like why would they have a surprise birthday party for her. Shes not like 21, 30 or 40 etc... Shes like 26...

Then I was thinking, her baby shower is August. Theres no way thatit could be for her... Its for me Its for me!! I got all done up nice and walked in - and it wasnt for me!!!

I felt so stupid inside

I hope its for you, I really do, just thought Id share my story

i just got a 'verbal' invite from FMIL that FH's aunt is throwing their uncle a 55th surprise party .....on a Sat..which i ALWAYS work...... which is weird...but NO ONE knows ANAY info on this party..except..i have to get off work!

i KNOW mine is in August..cause my mom and sis start teaching in Sept and its CRAZY
and i KNOW im having a luau theme..(saw a magazine circled)

so i think the party AUg27th is for me

we'll see....my luck i'd be wrong

I hope your shower is today!! Have fun if it is. I was just teasing my Mom, telling her that there is no way she can surprise me with the shower because we're in Philly and all family and friends are in NY. I said, 'Do you really think you are going to get me out of the state of Pennsylvania to come to NY without me knowing something is going on?'
