Repost from 05 Calling all CLM Brides

I thought you might like to know me and Mom took a drive down to the CLM Sunday afternoon because we were in the area. And we noticed they are really coming along with the downstairs New Bridal Suite and Chapel.

When I went past they had a door open for the downstairs and saw directly in they have walls up and doors up and everything all the sheetrock is done. The windows are in and they have 2 glass doors for the downstairs that opens up to the deck.

It just really made me happy to see this and I just thought I share so all you upcoming CLM brides we may have our new bigger bridal suite afterall I hope soooooo I am so excited

Re: Repost from 05 Calling all CLM Brides

Wow, that is so great!

I also don't mean to hijack this thread, but FH & I live very close also. We drove down Sat. night (I know it was a LIW girl's wedding) & we sat on the dock and watched the yacht pull in. The boat was beautiful and Monika was on the boat with them (along w/ their photog) & she was handing them champagne. They drove in very slow (didn't get windblown) and you could see the outline of people heading out from the CH room outside to watch the arrival. I do have to say ladies, if you are doing the yacht arrival, stay in shape & you may want to watch your heels. It was a BIG step from the boat onto the deck, Matt basically had to pull her up. She was concerned about her dress & her shoes and realize too the boat is rocking.

Yet it looked wonderful and was a big hit. I even saw the wedding guests upstairs all standing by the window to watch the arrival.

We then had dinner at the restaurant across the street and so we could see the window and saw the guests standing for the toasts & first dance. We also saw Matt running around making sure everything was top notch.

I also have to say I was surprised b/c it was a cool night and there were only maybe 10-15 guests outside during CH.

It just gave me chills seeing the bride/groom arrive on the yacht. Our day will all be here before you know it!!!

I spoke with Nick the other day, and he said their was a very good chance that the suite would be ready by my day this weekend. It did come pretty far though. I am keepig my fingers crossed. I would rather have nice weather though.

I really want to do the yacht arrival and I spoke to Lou about it and he said that if it is high tide the step isn't that big but he did show us how if it is low tide you kind of have to climb up a step on a ladder attached to the dock and then take the step up to the dock itself. I'm very nervous about it because I am such a klutz. Is everyone else going to do it?
