We decided to do it, only because FH is jewish and I'm catholic and we're incorporating traditions from both religions in our civil ceremony.I just got my unity candle holder from Ebay...$15!!!

Same for us (I'm jewish, he's catholic), but I am not sure how we are going to do it without the candle blowing out in an outdoor ceremony.

I don't know how well it will work outside....we are going to share a glass of wine at the end of the ceremony.

We are going to do it and we are going to have our mother's light the candles to give to us. I think it is a really nice moment in the ceremony.

We want to do it, but we're getting married outside (weather permitting) and I'm just now thinking that the flame may not stay lit out there. Hmm...I'll have to think about how I can make this work...

yes I got mine from abc distributing let me see if I can attach it it doesn't come with the stand thoguht and I paid $7.95 for it plus shipping and handling so it came to about $15
