Re: after hours formal wear???

We're using them b/c we have GM all over the place. So far so good. We picked out really nice tuxes, then the guys have to go to the nearest location to them, get measure and tell the person at the store that the Groom registered at xyz store which is where the tuxes will need to be picked up. The store person will then call the original store where we registered and give the measurements. The GM pays when they get measured and they pick up the tux in NY before the wedding.

Let's just hope it goes as well as it sounds.

Re: after hours formal wear???

We put a deposit down with them but after reading way too many negatives, we decided to cut our losses at that and go with another company.

Re: after hours formal wear???

FH was in a wedding last year for a friend upstate. They used After Hours because they were all over the place so it was easy for all the GM to get to one.

FH did not have any problems...they were easy to work with. He went in, got measured, when his tux came in he went back and tried it on. Everything was fine. The only issue was that the tuxes had to be returned the next day, don't know if this was standard for all tux places.

Re: after hours formal wear???

we just used them for our wedding 2 weeks ago.... no problems at all....
the guys were all up in north jersey, and the wedding was in south jersey where i grew up... so the guys all got measured at the one up north near them, and picked up the tuxes there and brought them down with them... no problems at all..... they were very nice, too... the day after the wedding, FIL was gonna take them all back to the store, but his car broke down on the way home from south jersey, so he couldn't make it to the mall before it closed... but the guy at after hours was understanding and fine with it.... the guys all looked great, and had no probs

We're using them for the same reason. GM's are all over the place. A friend of mine used them last year and had no problems. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: after hours formal wear???

I heard a lot of not good things about them but had GMs in a lot of places, so we ended up going with Men's Wearhouse instead. I was actually very pleased with thier service. The day before the wedding when my Husband was finally able to go in, they had his alterations done in an hour, and we really had no problems. YOu might want toc heck them out as well.
