Okay, I feel bad now...

...that I told FI that having the Andean Band for CH was too expensive for us. He has been SO good with me, I drag him to every appointment and he seems genuinely interested in planning together. I want him to be happy with our choices too.

So I just suck this up? He said that IF we were to do something extra, he would like that, but I don't know if he really wants the band for CH or not.

What do you think? Should I approach the subject again with him and ask if he really wanted the band? Or should I wait until it gets closer to when we need to make the final decision? I feel like I don't want to bother him again so soon with it, he'll probably think I'm looking to argue again with him!

Re: Okay, I feel bad now...

Girl....I'm going to tell you what I tell everyone. Go for it. You only do it once. Get the friggin CH band he wants.

Even if we're nuts enough to do this again, you probably won't do it like this! make him happy.

LOL, true, and since we're going with a DJ and not a band, we'll STILL be saving lots of money even if we do add them. I have a feeling now he'll say no, that he doesn't need it, but maybe I should surprise him with it.

Re: Okay, I feel bad now...

I asked him last night if he really wanted it and he said yes, he thought it would be a nice touch, but he said we should wait a few months before committing to see how much money we're spending on other things.

Re: Okay, I feel bad now...

so far FH has only requested one thing, and that is to get an awesome sports car to leave the church with instead of a limo.

it's going to cost us about $1000 dollars, and we still need a limo, but I figure since he's interested enough to ask for it, to give in and let him do it.

It actually requires more thought on my part (he wants a convertible, so I have to take that into consideration when I decide on hair and stuff), but I figure we get most of the glory- dress, hair, jewelry, e-rings- so I should give him this request.

if it won't KILL you, let him have it.

I think that's a good idea...as long as they don't get booked for your day.

There are a few things that we are going to 'consider' closer to the wedding. If we have extra loot, then we'll think about it.

In terms of 'giving him what he wants' - i did this with the sinatra singer...and now i am so happy we did. I also did this with the surf and turf... and again, glad that he insisted.
