HOTEL HELP! Anyne stay at Huntington Hilton, Wingate in Brentwood, or Hampton Inn in Commack?
I am trying to decide on a hotel to block rooms for my wedding next summer for our wedding night & OOT Guests.I got prices but would like some feedback on any of these hotels. Anyone use these?

Try doing a search on The Bride's Review board...a lot of girls have had guests stay at these places.

home is good! mike thinks its a B&B with all the people he is inviting up to entertain, LOL.wedding planning is on halt but im getting his aZZ to go see a dj next week.

I'm using the Smithtown Sheraton...they gave me the best deal and I visited and it was pretty nice.

My friend (perfectpair05) stayed at the Huntington Hilton last month and had a bad experience. Read her review on the review board.

I'm using the Smithtown Sheraton...they gave me the best deal and I visited and it was pretty nice.
I blocked rooms for my guests there and stayed there for our wedding night. Our guests had no hot water. Our room was near the pool (think waking up to tens of screaming children at 9 am), and they failed to give us any of the amenities (champagne, etc.) we were told were part of our package. They gave us some money off our room, but it didn't make up for the embarrassment I faced when hearing about my guests' cold showers.

We used the Huntington Hilton and had a great experience. Our guests raved about the place, loved the rooms, the service and the excellent buffet breakfast the next morning. We had a suite and it was beautiful. There was champagne on ice and chocolate covered strawberries waiting in our room when we returned from the reception. I definitely reccommend them!!
ETA- They also kept the bar open for us after the reception til almost 4 in the morning!!
We also used there shuttle service for a nominal fee which brought our guests to and from the reception!!

we are using the hampton inn....my friends used the wingate last weekend....there was a chemical leak or something (or a fear of it) so they all had to leave the hotel at 10:00----they werent allowed back in and could not leave the parking lot until 3 or 4

My FH parents and brother stayed at the Wingate Inn for our e-party and they said it was really nice!
