So....we adopted another dog yesterday UPDATED WITH PICS!
We rescued her from a shelter. She had been there too long & was sent to be destroyed tomorrow. So now we have 4 dogs
She is very sweet, and is a 2 -year old Shiba Inu. She was abandoned by a man who had to move to an assisted care facility, and was not able to take the dog with him. She has been shuffled back & forth between shelters for the past 6 months, and my MIl saw her in the local paper & called. Her name is foxy ....I will post pics later tonight when I get home.

Yeah that would be a lot of fun. But it maybe 4 Shibas.
DH and I want to get another one. He wants a puppy. I would rescue another one but he wants one that we can raise from a baby. If you don't mind me asking where did you get Loki from? Sandy is doing good. Hiding under the bed. She has started to cry in the mornings when I leave now and even barks a little. She didnt bark at all for the 1st 10 months we had her.

Aww, poor Sandy. Maybe she wants a friend.DH *bought* Loki...I think it was from a pet store
He won't tell me (cuz he knows I'll be really angry if he went to a pet store).A friend of mine is also looking for a SI, and I think he found breeders int he area. I'll get the info for ya :)

OMG I am soo far behind on getting pics, I am so embarrassed. I finally found my digi camera, but now I cannot find the friggin USB port to upload them onto the computer.
Good news is she is doing very well with my other 3 monsters, and she has begun to eat normally & is putting some much needed weight on. She is such a good, well-trained, loving dog.

Thanks all!She is doing quite well. She is better trained than the other 3 monsters I have
She has asserted herself as the Alpha already, which does not sit well with our 4 yr old male pug, but I am sure he will get over it.
She is gaining weight, and is very relaxed now.
