I know this is early, but I got inspired...

Let me know what you think of this favor idea:

Take a galvanized metal bucket and decorate with a couple of beachy magnets (not sure they'll stick, but something along those lines). Then fill with saltwater taffy and wrap the whole thing with cellophane and ribbon.

I thought it might be cute for the beginning of summer. Anyone know where I can get good saltwater taffy in bulk? Thanks!

i think thats the cutest thing!! im not sure where to buy taffy in bulk..maybe costco or bj's?? or try online...good luck!!

i like the idea. i know costco doesn't b/c i work there(lucky me

) the best salt water taffy is atlantic city. i have a box. its called fralinger's salt water taffy. you can call 1-800-93 taffy(2339) or visit www.fralingers.com they make all different kinds. regular to chocolate dipped. good luck!

Thanks! I bookmarked that site. I live in MD, so I could also try to go to Ocean City and see if they have saltwater taffy. I think they do. And it would be a nice excuse to take a little trip there before the wedding!
