What is the rule of thumb for the percentage of your total guest list that will RSVP No?

Not sure of the % but we are inviting 280 and I have no idea how many people we will have!


I'm hoping for a few 'regrets' so we don't break the bank!

I think I have heard that the no's are usually 20%. But that you need to adjust that higher or lower depending on how many out of town people you invite.
