Planning a surprise b-day party for FH

hey girls,
I wanna do somthing different and deffinitly special for FH's b-day

I was thinking of buying a bunch of tickets for a booze cruise around manhattan. However there's going to be 45--75 people so that can get quite expensive.. ( prices range from $60.00pp - $100.)

Does anyone have any suggestions,
For a fun creative inexpensive party?
I'd love to hear them. Fh's b-day is in August

How about a casino party? My sister had one last month for her husband. Everyone really seemed to have fun.

Check out the different party boats on the Nauticle Mile in Freeport. They have the nicer ones they rent for parties, which my aunt had her very casual reception on a few years ago, but I think they also charter the fishing boats, the nicer ones, for parties at night. They would include food and booze probably for a little less per person than the other one. But don't quote me on that!! Definitely worth a try though!!
