Tea-length dresses--Dyed to match or neutral shoes
Those of you who are having girls where tea-length dresses are they wearing a neutral colored shoe or a dyed to match?I am wearing a tea-length dress next month and I want to tell the bride that I think we should wear beige or silver shoes instead of dyed to match.

Re: Tea-length dresses--Dyed to match or neutral shoes
My girls have black tea length dresses, and will be wearing a gold shoe. I think dyable shoes look terrible (JMO.) The chances of wearing them again are nill.

Absolutely a neutral shoe. Dyeables are so 90's. (JMO, not to offend)

Re: Tea-length dresses--Dyed to match or neutral shoes
The dress is Celadon and the wedding is next month so she wants sandals. I think celadon green sandals with a tea length dress will make the exposed part of the leg look shorter.

You can probably get away with a light silver if there arent alot of straps to the sandal

I definitely think silver would be much better with the celedon tea length dress.

Re: Tea-length dresses--Dyed to match or neutral shoes
I'm probably going to do silver and strappy. If I have them wear the same shoes, I'll pay for them since I think that is only fair.

I agree with the neutral color. Since they're celadon, it's such a neutral color itself, you can wear silver or gold strappy sandals. I would stick with silver though, more chances of wearing them again. GL!

Re: Tea-length dresses--Dyed to match or neutral shoes
hi:Just a quick note: dyable shoes will be ruined if you get them wet. The dye will come off the shoe and discolor it (even if you are walking on wet grass. BE CAREFUL. I have this dilema as well.
