Does anyone of have pet insurance?

After spending a small fortune on surgery for our lab, I am thinking of looking into pet insurance.

All of our dogs were too old to be able to get it

Hi Wendy,

Well, Sargent is our black lab who is 13 months old. He is the one who needed surgery this past week after eating a rock and getting it stuck in his intestines.

What is the age limit?

I'm not sure about the limits, Hershey was probably already nine or ten when i was thinking about it.

I had it for my two cats and dog. It covers nothing and is a waste of money. It also doesn't cover preexisting conditions. My cat needed surgery and it only covered $200 out of the $600 it cost. The insurance for one year for one cat cost more than $200. So I did not even break even. Eventually, I got rid of it.
