ITUNES MP4 Format coverted to MP3 format

UGH. I downloaded music from itunes and I need to add it to an Adobe Premiere Elements video and unfortunately it will not recognize the itunes format. I need an MP3 format in order to use it. I don't know how to convert it.

HELP! TIA

ETA: it needs to play in windows media player.

Try downloading a program called Tunebites--it will convert anything into a MP3. This is what I use to convert all of my Napster stuff for my IPOD--much cheaper than ITunes.....

I just read about it - looks like exactly what I need to convert it. I think itunes is an m4p format and I need to get it to mp3.

Thanks so much again. You just saved DH & I hours of aggrevation.

We're doing our safari video and wanted to add music from I dreamed of Africa onto the footage.

It's going to be a great trip. Editing out 4-1/2 hours of video has brought everything back ... we want to go again already, although that's unlikely ... Africa really is a continent that reels you in to it's beauty and magic.

I have been through the same thing - I downloaded two or three converters that were supposed to change it from m4p to mp3 and I couldn't get any of them to work.

I ended up burning the song to a CD and then converting the song to MP3 when I re-saved it to my computer.
