Good Morning. And the countdown begins....45 days until FH's submarine gets back to Conn.

His family and I will be spending the evening of Aug 31 at a hotel near the base so that we can be there bright and early on September 1st when he arrives. WOO HOO can't wait.

Good morning! Back to work

Weekend was ok. I got sick Saturday night & yesterday I guess from the humidity. I had a very bad migraine & then it affected my stomach! But I am feeling better today!

He should be home for the next 18 months or so, except for the ocassional (every couple of months or so) 2 week trip. The submarine he is assigned to will eventually go to New Hampshire for an overhaul that will last about a year.

AMy, that's wonderful!!! I know the feeling. I drove all the way to North Carolina TWICE to greet my brother both times he returned home from Iraq.

your FH is going to be happier than you can imagine when he sees you all there!

Thats awesome!!! I know the feeling too I have spent coutless hours at 2am in airports and military bases waiting to greet FH..ITS THE BEST

Deployments are the hardest part of being a military spouse, homecomings are the best!
