Any ideas for a cooking school graduation gift?

My friend is graduating from cooking school tomorrow & we are going out for drinks afterward.

I want to get her something, nothing too major, maybe around the $30 range.

I have NO idea & need to get something quickly. I don't want to get her any kind of cookbook.

Maybe a gift card, but I don't know where? William Sonoma? I dont' knwo how uch of her own stuff she needs? She will be lookign for a job, but right now she still works in publishing.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

How about an apron with her name embroidered on it?

Re: Any ideas for a cooking school graduation gift?

I would stay away from gift cards to cooking places, she probably has/buys her supplies from specific vendors...
What about something cute, like a chef's jacket.
Or a gift certificate for a parafin manicure, I used to work in a restuarant and your hands get burnt, and scalded, raw from chopping, etc.....she might like that.

The apron idea is cute, but I need it for tomorrow.

I was thinking manicure, for the same reasons, but I didn't know if she could have her nails done. I didn't think abotu the paraffin thing. Thanks! I'll look into that!

she might have to keep her nails short, but still having your cuticles cleaned up and your nails buffed and the parafin is yummy-oh, now I want to go to the nail salon!

My brother is a chef and loves good wine - what about a nice bottle of wine in that price range?

They have a form on their website, but I don't have time to order one. I assume I can just go in & pick one up, right?
