I wouldnt. Only because I am so OCD I would have to check and recheck everything over so I might as well have done it all myself!

If I could have found someone who is as anal retentive as me, then yes.

Most of the things I did on my own wasnt an attempt to save money, I just didnt like the stuff that came readymade. Im still like that even when it comes to holiday cards, parties, etc..

That stuff, no.
But dealing with vendors before hand, yes.
Okay, well not really, I would not have paid for it but I wish someone else would have done it for free!!

No, that was stuff I didn't mind so much. It was a lot of the other stuff I found annoying.

Re: Would you have paid for someone to do all the grunt work for your wedding....

well, I liked stuffing the envelopes! I did it by myself, without DH or anyone!

My parents wrapped the favors. I am bad at wrapping, so if I coudn't fidn someone to do it, I may have paid someone, but I would have supllied the ribbon, paper & labels, b/c I was very picky about them. Although DH probably would have done it, he wraps all our gifts.

Address, I would hadve paid b/c I wanted calligraphgy, but DH's aunt offered.

Programs & place cards were a PIA , but I didn't have time to have them professionally done, so if it was just someone doing them after work on a laser printer, like me, then no, I would just do it myself.
Breakdown & all.

I did pay someone to do all of those things, except stuff the envelopes. My mom and I did that.

Re: Would you have paid for someone to do all the grunt work for your wedding....

My MIL paid for our favors to be assembled. I don't regret doing the grunt work that I did do because I'd much rather have the extra cash now. And, I guess it kept my 'busy' during the 2 year engagement.
